EngageRocket - Confidentiality

How your survey responses are handled

Honest feedback starts with understanding how your responses will be used and who can access them.
EngageRocket supports different survey confidentiality arrangements agreed with your organisation. This page explains our standard approach and any additional access. Your HR team or survey lead can confirm which arrangements apply to your survey.

Our standard approach

For surveys using our standard confidentiality arrangements:

  • Your individual answers are confidential. People managers and company administrators do not receive individual responses linked to your identity.

  • Comments are shared without your name or employee ID. Details you include in a comment may still make you recognisable to someone who knows the situation.

  • Participation is shown as a group total. People managers and company administrators can see overall participation, but cannot see who has or has not responded.

  • Group results require a minimum number of responses. Results are displayed only when the response threshold set for the survey has been met.

Additional access agreed with your organisation

Where agreed with your organisation, authorised Privileged Administrators may access answers, comments and participation information linked to your identity, through the platform or directly from EngageRocket. Group reporting thresholds do not limit this access. Your HR team or survey lead can explain what applies to your survey and how the data is used.

Supporting constructive feedback

We welcome candid feedback, including criticism and concerns. Responses containing threats of harm, harassment, or other criminal or abusive content may be reviewed individually. Where appropriate, EngageRocket may disclose the participant’s identity or end their participation.
